Our Heart & Why We Exist
At Clothing by Faith for Children, we believe that dignity starts with the basics. Too many children from low-income households face each school day without quality clothing, proper supplies, or personal care items—needs that can make the difference between feeling invisible and feeling empowered.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to changing that reality. Through the gift of quality essentials—clothing, shoes, school supplies, and hygiene products—we help children walk into classrooms with confidence, pride, and the readiness to learn. Every child deserves to feel confident, seen, and supported, and we exist to make that possible.
Our Story
Clothing by Faith for Children began with a simple but powerful vision: no child should feel left out because of what they lack. Founded in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, we started by meeting urgent needs—distributing clothing, school supplies, and hygiene items to children whose families were struggling the most.
Over time, we realized that our work was about more than meeting basic needs—it was about giving children the confidence to show up fully in life. A warm coat in winter, a fresh outfit for the first day of school, a backpack filled with supplies… these aren’t just items; they are tools for self-belief and hope.
Today, we continue to grow with the same heart that started it all—providing not just essentials, but opportunities for every child to feel proud, prepared, and ready to succeed.
What We Do
We partner with schools, community organizations, and local businesses to deliver both essentials and empowerment through:
Seasonal Distribution Events – Back-to-school drives, winter coat giveaways, and other seasonal programs providing children with high-quality clothing, shoes, and supplies.
Confidence-Building Workshops – Interactive sessions designed to nurture self-esteem, social skills, and a positive self-image.
Year-Round Support – Ongoing assistance to ensure children have the essentials they need at any point in the year, not just during the holidays or school start.
